Ridgeside Village Review

Ridgeside Village adds a mountain town north of the valley with its own NPC roster, shops, festivals and a quest line that runs parallel to the Community Center.

It is large enough that the town becomes a daily destination. That is the appeal and the warning: a save with Ridgeside expects you to spend time there, and the NPC count roughly doubles the friendship and gifting surface.

Verdict

A second town with more NPCs than the base game, and the clearest example of content volume versus maintenance risk. It needs four frameworks, it has not shipped a Nexus update since November 2024, and it is the heaviest neighbour for an SVE save.
